Runder Droëwors is made with 100% beef filling. The beef is minced and infused with a robust combination of spices like coriander, nutmeg, clove, salt and pepper and then it's carefully stuffed into natural lamb casings. The sausage is gently air-dried to eating perfection. Making your own boerewors? Look no further we have the spice you need. FREDDY HIRSCH KAMEELHOUT BOEREWORS SPICE has a typical boerewors flavour with top notes of clove, coriander and nutmeg. (We believe the name probably comes from the kameeldoring - Acacia - tree which is said to yield a top-quality braai wood). Instructions: use 30-35 g spice per Kg meat.
