Right of Withdrawal – Food Products
Important Notice Regarding Perishable and Food Items
In accordance with Article 16 of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the right of withdrawal does not apply to the goods sold by [Your Company Name] for the following reasons:
- Our products are perishable food items that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
- Where applicable, our products are sealed for health protection and hygiene reasons and are not suitable for return once the seal has been broken or the packaging has been opened after delivery.
Therefore, once food products have been delivered, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds on the basis of withdrawal.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
While we cannot accept returns under the right of withdrawal, you are fully protected if your goods arrive:
- Damaged or spoiled in transit
- Not as described or incorrectly fulfilled
- Past their use-by date upon delivery (this is different from Best Before dates)
In any of these cases, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order at [your@email.com], providing your order number and photos of the affected items. We will offer a replacement, store credit, or refund as appropriate.
